What should I do if I am not able to take the planned lesson?

You have the right to cancel or reschedule your lesson in your profile for free up to 4 hours in advance of your scheduled start time. Please, try to inform your tutor by this time.

How much does it cost to have a lesson with a tutor?

Savadly platform does not influence the tutor’s pricing decisions. Each tutor sets their own price and works as an independent contractor.

What is the duration of my first lesson?

It is 1 hour by default for private and 1.5 hours for group sessions whether you take the full time or not. We will be unable to add another lesson from your remaining balance with your tutor if the duration is shorter than what you have paid for.

How do I make the payment for the lessons?

When it comes to payments, our platform is safe and convenient to use. You can pay using your credit or debit (Visa/Mastercard) cards, PayPal account, or cash via MilliÖn (only available in Azerbaijan). All payments for online lessons are made through our website.

How do I leave a review for the tutor?

There is a section at the bottom of the teacher's page where you can write a review. Other reviews can be found here as well. It is also possible to leave feedback on the Facebook page of Savadly. Students' reviews and participation in the teacher assessment process assist prospective students in finding the best instructor for them.

I forgot my password, what should I do?

When you click on the "Login" button on our website, the “Forgot password” option will appear. When you click it, on the upcoming screen the website will ask you to enter your registered email address. Please enter it and click the “Send” button. A new password will be sent to your registered email address immediately.

Can I place ads on Savadly?

We do not place any advertisement that belongs to other companies or individuals. Our platform was created to help tutors and students find each other.

How long should I wait for the tutor to respond?

Every tutor has the right to respond within 48 hours of receiving an order or email. When the lesson has been booked, we are immediately sending an email notification to the tutor.

What should I do if the first lesson does not take place?

If your lesson is cancelled due to any reason caused by Savadly, we will provide a full refund or a tutor replacement with another tutor.

Can I chat with the tutor?

Yes. Once you book a lesson, there will be a specific section in your student profile called Q&A where you can send your questions to the tutor directly from your account.

FAQ for tutors

Is the first lesson free for the student?

No. The platform does not provide this option. However, the student can first purchase a trial lesson to assess the course's quality. If a student is satisfied with the trial and wants to retake the course, he or she can no longer buy the lessons separately, but only as a package.

Can I get the entire amount after the student pays for the course?

The tutor will receive payment in the first week of each subsequent month based on the number of lessons taught. It is not possible to get paid after each lesson. 

How does the payment get credited to the tutor's account?

After purchasing the course, each lesson is scheduled in the Calendar section. The platform will automatically send a request to the student to confirm and evaluate the course. The tutor will receive payment in the first week of each subsequent month based on the number of lessons taught.

What is the payment process like?

The student will be able to choose from one of the following packages to select a course or check its quality: 1, 6, 8, or 12 hours. When a student prepays for a package of their choice through the platform you will receive an email confirmation and the amount will be added to your account after the course or this one lesson is completed.

How and when do I receive a review from a student?

What should I do if the student asks for contact details to deal outside of the platform?

Please, explain to the student that we are investing the commission fee charged from the lessons into marketing, programming, banking, taxes and platform improvements. Being a part of Savadly’s family means not only understanding and accepting our rules and principles, but also being honest with us. 

How do I report an issue with my lesson?

To report a problem, send an email to [email protected] or call the phone number provided on the site. You can also reach us through social media.

What should I do if I am unable to deliver the scheduled lesson?

Please inform your student at least 4 hours before your scheduled lesson begins. Additionally, you can reschedule or cancel classes during this period in the “My Courses” section.

How do I withdraw money from my tutor account?

After completing all courses, payment will be transferred to your account in the first week of the following month.

I cannot save my profile/request/lesson/etc. When I click on the Save button nothing happens.

It can be a problem with your browser. We recommend using one of the following browsers below:

  • Chrome (preferable)
  • Firefox
  • Opera
  • Safari
  • An old version of Internet Explorer and some other browsers are not supported by our website.

If you are using adblocking plugins, we recommend that you disable them, as they may interfere with the operation of your site. If you changed your browser but the problem persists, try clearing your browser’s cache data.

If none of the above instructions works, try accessing the website from a different laptop or computer.
If the issue persists, please contact our support team with a detailed description of the problem. Please also include screenshots of the errors that were encountered. We will be happy to help you resolve the issue.

Can I refund the payment back to the student if I am not able to give the scheduled class?

The payment for unused hours can be refunded to the student upon the tutor’s request.

Platform Commission for Tutors

For all lessons, Savadly takes a commission fee from 30% to 20% (7% VAT is excluded) of payments depending on the number of completed lessons with students. The more lessons you give, the less commission you pay.
